Who is Matt?
Matt Perusse is a revivalist evangelist and founder of Firebrand Ministries.
Raised in the Pacific Northwest in a broken home and a fractured culture, Matt grew up without the knowledge of Jesus Christ. His early life was marked by violence, anger, and hopelessness — until God intervened.
At 18 years old, after being arrested on felony drug charges, Matt encountered the peace of God for the first time—alone in the back of a police car. That moment marked the beginning of a divine rescue. While out on bail, he was invited to church, where he encountered the Holy Spirit and recognized the same supernatural peace. There, Matt fully surrendered his life to Jesus Christ and was radically born again. Rage vanished. Addiction broke. Purpose ignited. He became a new creation—truly a brand plucked from the fire.
From that moment forward, Matt’s heart has burned for revival, the preaching of the gospel, and the unity of the Church. He began preaching immediately, witnessing salvations, healings, miracles, and prophetic ministry through street outreaches, revival meetings, and local communities. He has pastored in multiple congregations and now walks fully in his God-given calling as a full-time evangelist.
Together with his wife Amy, Matt carries a mandate to ignite believers and awaken cities with the fire of God. Firebrand Ministries exists to see hearts set ablaze, the Church unified, and the Kingdom of God advance with power—on earth as it is in heaven. Their vision is to see a generation encounter Jesus, fan the flames of revival, and spread the Good News like wildfire—locally, nationally, and across the world.
They live for this: Jesus glorified, the lost saved, and the world set on fire for God.
They are Firebrands for the Kingdom of God. 🔥
